Yes! While we verify that you're a real student at your school, your identity is protected when posting. Other students see you as "Anonymous" unless you choose to reveal your username. Your school email is only used for verification and is never shown to other users. However, note that our moderation team may access your account information if you violate community guidelines.

Highchat is currently available at Beverly Hills High School, with Brentwood High School coming soon. We're actively expanding to more schools! If you'd like to bring Highchat to your school, reach out to us at support@highchat.app and we'll work with you to set it up.

Yes, you can delete your account at any time through the app settings. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, posts, and all associated data. Note that some data may be retained for legal and safety purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Rate My Teachers is a feature that lets students anonymously share and view ratings and reviews of teachers at their school. Reviews include ratings for teaching quality, difficulty, and helpfulness. All reviews are moderated to ensure they're constructive and appropriate. This helps students make informed decisions about their classes.

To change your username, go to your Profile → Edit Profile → Username. Usernames must be unique and follow our community guidelines. Some usernames may be unavailable if they've already been taken or contain restricted words.
